Noa Even teams up with NYC-based composer, conductor, and keyboardist, Buck McDaniel, for a concert of (mostly) original music for saxophone and organ. They have collaborated on numerous projects since 2019 and this is their first season performing a full program of music together. The concert features two substantial pieces by McDaniel, and works by Augusta Read Thomas, Nico Muhly, Joanne Metcalf, and Hildegard Von Bingen. There are several personal and thematic threads that tie the program together, including commemoration, celebration, and mentorship.
