Noa Even teams up with NYC-based composer, conductor, and keyboardist, Buck McDaniel, for a concert of (mostly) original music for saxophone and organ. They have collaborated on numerous projects since 2019 and this will be their first season performing a full program of music together. The concert features two substantial pieces by McDaniel, and works by Augusta Read Thomas, Nico Muhly, Marilyn Shrude, and Hildegard Von Bingen. There are many personal and thematic threads that tie the program together, including commemoration, celebration, and mentorship.
